Job Overview

As a senior training and skills development advisor, you will assist with needs analysis, training development, logistics, and delivery. You will coach and mentor employees, lead complex development projects and strategic initiatives, and provide expert advice based on extensive knowledge of your specialty area. Your role involves making recommendations on complex projects, coordinating with stakeholders across various fields, and serving as a subject matter expert and resource for decision-making bodies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise clients and partners to help them plan, develop, execute, and monitor strategic projects and initiatives
  • Develop and update policies, standards, models, and programs supporting strategic projects
  • Identify, analyze, and diagnose major issues, providing recommendations to decision-making bodies
  • Represent your unit and Desjardins’s position in negotiations and agreements with external partners
