Job description

Hybrid role - 3 days a week

Role Overview

Playing a critical role in supporting the firm’s growth, the Senior Advisor – Marketing Projects will project manage and oversee the implementation of various tactics identified in the firm’s strategic marketing plans, such as events, virtual seminars, content, email marketing, and sponsorship branding and visibility.

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will be creative, goal-oriented, and a strong project manager, with demonstrated excellence in communication, organizational skills, thoroughness, attention to detail, and time management. Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills are essential, as the role involves direct communication with internal and external clients. The role requires versatility and a broad skill set across various disciplines.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Plan and develop project scope for client-facing marketing initiatives.
  2. Collaborate with internal clients to develop innovative solutions from scoping, conceptualization, production, quality assurance, to final launch.
  3. Provide direction and feedback to colleagues and suppliers while leading planning and execution of initiatives.
  4. Populate campaign process tools, including critical paths, program budgets, run sheets, and post-mortem analyses.
  5. Monitor project progress, set deadlines, and address obstacles.
  6. Assist in monitoring expenses and meeting budget requirements.
  7. Prepare feedback surveys and reports, working closely with the digital team to showcase project performance.
  8. Negotiate services, review contracts, and maintain strong relationships with vendors and agencies.
  9. Ensure compliance with firm policies, communication procedures, and brand standards.
  10. Maintain relationships with vendors and ensure invoice payments are processed.
  11. Evaluate project performance and stakeholder satisfaction.
  12. Support content creation through copywriting and promotional activities.
  13. Manage event invitations via Vuture, our email marketing software.
  14. Attend regional events, seminars, and receptions to ensure smooth logistics and guest experience.
  15. Prepare event RSVP reports.
  16. Ensure all marketing initiatives follow best practices.
Compensation

Vancouver Salary: $74,928 - $103,000. Salary will be discussed and negotiated during the interview, based on experience.

Qualifications
  • Relevant degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in event project management.
  • Leadership, organizational, operational, negotiation, and team-management skills.
  • Proficiency in document management systems and CRM databases, including InterAction and Vuture.
  • Strong data analytical skills and an aptitude for numbers.
  • Creative problem-solving skills in a team environment.
  • Ability to handle multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Active listening skills.
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, with occasional travel.
  • Bilingualism is a strong asset but not required.
