Job description

Status : Open

WestCorp Solutions is searching for an experienced Senior Advisor Marketing to support our Client in Ontario.

The successful candidate will meet the following requirements :

  1. Managing C-store Vendor accounts from invoicing to collections.
  2. Store and category analytics and insights, including space-to-sales ratios, performance drivers, and growth opportunities.
  3. Category analytics through Nielsen IQ (NIQ).
  4. Market benchmarking analysis (NIQ).
  5. Ad hoc financial analysis.

This role reports to the Manager, Logistics, Snacking & Food Service, and is responsible for managing vendor revenue from approximately 80 vendors across multiple C-store categories, representing over $20 million in vendor revenue.

The role also involves optimizing reporting and analytics tools and driving towards a centre of excellence for all C-store analytics and insights.

Working closely with the category team, this role collaborates with a cross-functional team to ensure all vendor revenue opportunities are captured, accounts are current, and past due accounts are minimized.

Responsibilities also include reporting and remittance for governmental recycling fees – materials management.

This role requires strong analytical skills to evaluate store and category opportunities and benchmark market data to ensure superior performance in the C-store channel.

Qualifications :

  • University degree or post-secondary education in finance, business, or marketing.
  • Knowledge of the retail business environment, particularly working with Category Management.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to critically analyze data and identify issues and opportunities.
  • Advanced PowerBI skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other Office applications.
  • Working knowledge of SAP.
  • Experience in a Sales & Marketing organization is an asset.
  • Experience in Convenience Retailing (C-Store) is an asset.
