Job description

As a senior advisor for IT room governance, you’ll take on a leadership role in managing IT rooms for the different Desjardins caisses and campuses. You’ll set up an IT room posture dashboard and carry out reporting activities. You establish strategies to help resolve information security issues with all stakeholders and align major initiatives to ensure sound management of IT rooms. More specifically, you will be required to:

• Set up and oversee the governance of IT rooms for the caisse network and major Desjardins Group user sites/campuses.

• Organize operational governance committees with different Desjardins and caisse network stakeholders (caisses, client relations, real estate, security, procurement, Desjardins Technology Group for telecoms, office automation, etc.).

• Develop and maintain a dashboard on IT room posture, including an overview of projects.

• Develop and coordinate the management of the action plan register with stakeholders to correct security issues, including suppliers and service providers.

What you bring to the table

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science

• A minimum of six years of relevant experience

• Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered

• Experience managing IT rooms and information security

• Experience in governance, supplier management or contract management

• Experience in IT issue resolution and management

  Knowledge of French is required

• Intermediate advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients

• Knowledge of the telecoms sector
