Job summary

Belron Canada Incorporated, the home office of Speedy Glass, Lebeau vitres d'auto and Vanfax, is seeking a strategic HSWE senior advisor to shape governance across Canada and lead platform implementation.

Reporting to the National Director, Environment, Health, Safety, Wellbeing and Responsible Business, you will drive data quality, KPIs and cross-functional collaboration, with travel within Canada and a hybrid Montreal-office schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field or equivalent experience.
• Master's degree is a strong asset.
• 5–10 years of progressive HSWE or related experience.
• Proven success managing complex cross-functional initiatives in a multi-site environment.
• Strong HSWE principles, governance frameworks, ISO 45001/ISO 14001 knowledge.
• Excellent analytics, dashboards and reporting skills; English/French bilingual.

Responsibilities

• Shape HSWE governance across Belron Canada with scalable national systems.
• Advance national initiatives to improve health, safety, wellbeing and environmental performance.
• Own HSWE platforms strategy, roadmap, governance, data standards and adoption.
• Manage high-visibility projects from planning through implementation.
• Turn HSWE data into KPIs, dashboards, and actionable recommendations.
• Partner across Operations, IT, Finance, and other teams to align priorities.
• Support ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 reviews, audits, and corrective actions.
• Champion change with clear communication and stakeholder engagement.

Position overview

Belron Canada is looking for a strategic and hands-on senior advisor who combines strong Health, Safety, Wellbeing and Environment (HSWE) expertise with disciplined project management. Reporting to the National Director, Environment, Health, Safety, Wellbeing and Responsible Business (HSWE), this role sits at the crossroads of corporate strategy, operations, business lines and the global team in the United Kingdom. You will shape how HSWE work gets done across Canada by strengthening management systems, engaging partners and turning strategy into practical action. You will also lead the HSWE platform implementation, improve data quality and translate trends into clear insights that support better decisions and stronger HSWE performance. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who enjoys creating structure, influencing without formal authority, guiding change and moving important initiatives from strategy to successful execution.

Responsibilities

• Shape the future of HSWE governance across Belron Canada by building a consistent, practical and scalable national management system.
• Advance national initiatives that strengthen health, safety, wellbeing and environmental performance across a complex, multi-site organization.
• Own the strategy and evolution of our HSWE platforms, including the roadmap, priorities, governance, data standards and user adoption.
• Drive high-visibility projects from planning through implementation by managing timelines, deliverables, dependencies, risks and action plans.
• Turn reliable HSWE data into meaningful KPIs, dashboards, recommendations and action plans that support better business decisions.
• Partner with Operations, People and Culture, IT, Finance, Network Optimization and other teams to connect business priorities with HSWE priorities.
• Strengthen systems and practices aligned with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 principles while supporting reviews, assessments, audits and follow-up actions.
• Champion change and continuous improvement through clear communication, training, stakeholder engagement and practical solutions that create lasting impact.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Studies, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A master’s degree is a strong asset.
• Five to ten years of progressive experience in HSWE, quality, governance, continuous improvement, organizational performance or a closely related field.
• Proven success managing complex projects and advancing cross-functional initiatives within a corporate, national or multi-site environment.
• A strong understanding of HSWE principles, management systems, governance frameworks, continuous improvement, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
• Strong analytical, dashboard and reporting skills using Excel, Power BI, artificial intelligence tools or equivalent solutions.
• Experience with EHS or HSWE platforms is an asset.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build alignment and deliver results in a matrix environment.
• The ability to translate complex information into clear recommendations, presentations and actions for operational teams, business leaders and executives.
• Fluency in French and English, spoken and written, to collaborate with colleagues and partners across Canada and internationally, along with availability for occasional travel within Canada.

Work Model

This position follows a hybrid work model, with an expectation to be present at the Montreal office at least two (2) days per week. Occasional business travel may be required.
