The National Capital Commission is seeking a health and safety specialist responsible for compliance with health obligations and best practices. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Human Resources, extensive experience in OHS services, and strong analytical and organizational skills. This role involves advising on legislation, developing prevention programs, and ensuring effective communication across departments.

JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Manager, Employee Relations, you will be responsible for providing a full range of high-quality services, advice, and guidance to internal stakeholders to ensure the NCC's compliance with its health and safety obligations and the adoption of best practices. You will also keep abreast of health and safety trends and play a central role in the research, development, recommendation, implementation and monitoring of activities and policies related to health, safety and wellness programs.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION : A degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with specialization in human resources management or a related field, or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience related to the position to be filled.
EXPERIENCE : Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in each of the following criteria :
