As a Senior Advisor in the Financial Markets Business Strategy team at National Bank, you will play a pivotal role in creating and rolling out the campus recruitment strategy for the sector. Responsible for meeting the recruitment needs of interns across Canada, you will develop relationships with educational institutions and students. You will collaborate with internal partners and enhance the intern experience within the Financial Markets sector, offering a unique opportunity to impact the organization positively.

Your Job

  • Forge and nurture relationships with universities, students, and the business to meet recruitment needs
  • Create and monitor key metrics to optimize recruitment events
  • Develop engaging presentations and materials to increase sector visibility on campuses and social media
  • Organize or participate in campus activities with business partners to promote career opportunities
  • Ensure a seamless intern experience : welcome, support, and gather feedback from interns
  • Gather competitive intelligence on internship recruitment practices
  • Contribute to evolving recruitment practices : develop tools and improve processes
  • Coach junior team members to support their development

Your Team

This role is based in Toronto or Calgary within the Financial Markets Business Strategy team. Reporting to the Vice-President, Business Strategy – Financial Markets, you will oversee daily recruitment operations, ensuring efficiency and effective workflows.

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, administration, or a related field with at least 7 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in university recruitment is an asset
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational skills, and proactive attitude
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Experience in capital markets is an asset
