Job summary

Desjardins is seeking a senior personal advisor to lead sales and service development, building long-term client relationships and strategic partnerships. You will guide members and stakeholders, shape initiatives, and optimize profitability while ensuring satisfaction.

The role requires French language skills and strong English communication abilities, with a focus on strategic mindset and networking across multiple business sectors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
  • Minimum six years of relevant experience.
  • Mutual fund representative certificate – Autorité des marchés financiers.
  • Knowledge of French is required; advanced English skills are needed for interactions with partners and clients.
  • Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and act on business and partnership opportunities to boost the organization’s development and profitability.
  • Advise members, clients and stakeholders to help them position, plan, develop, execute and monitor strategic initiatives.
  • See to member, client and stakeholder development, retention and satisfaction; develop retention tactics and strategies.
  • Monitor the industry to understand and anticipate trends in the specialty area and make recommendations.

Job description

As a senior personal advisor, you help serve, prospect for, solicit, and develop and maintain business relationships with members and clients. You provide service tailored to client needs in accordance with current strategies and practices. You lead clients and practitioners on sales and service development projects, initiatives and activities that significantly impact multiple business sectors. You take a strategic mindset to boost the organization’s development and profitability while retaining clients and stakeholders and ensuring their satisfaction. You draw on your networking skills and interpersonal savvy to develop and maintain business partnerships with important clients who have complex, diverse needs. Your complex, strategic initiatives require extensive knowledge of sales and service. You analyze highly complex problems and develop and implement personalized solutions tailored to client needs. You serve as specialist and resource person for your unit, members and clients and represent your unit before decision-making bodies. You help represent Desjardins and enter the organization into important agreements with clients. More specifically, you will be required to :

What You Bring To The Table
