If you answered yes, this could be the opportunity for you! Our Port Hope location is currently seeking a Senior Administrative Assistant to join the team. Bring your attention to detail, proactive mindset, and organizational expertise to a role where your contributions truly make a difference.

What will you be doing?

  • Supporting the team in the hiring process.
  • Managing each of the Directors' office activities and providing general support to ensure efficient functioning of the departments.
  • Providing business administrative support to the Directors of Construction.
  • Acting as a front-line contact for internal and external queries.
  • Screening, prioritizing, and tracking all correspondence and redirecting as appropriate.
  • Maintaining accurate files and HR information for updates.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by your manager.

What we are looking for:

  • Education
    • College Diploma in a related discipline (e.g., Office Administration) with 2-3 years of administrative experience, OR
    • Secondary school diploma (Grade 12) with a minimum of 5 years of related experience.
  • Experience
    • Experience is an asset but not necessary.
  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
    • Knowledge of administrative principles and software such as Office 2013 and Adobe/Foxit Phantom.
    • Effective oral and written communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
    • Understanding of administrative best practices and basic financial practices.
    • Excellent business/administrative skills and adaptability to new software.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills under pressure.
    • Sound judgment, initiative, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team environment.
  • Security Clearance Eligibility
    • Reliability Status with Site Access Security Clearance (SASC), requiring 3-5 years of verifiable history in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the U.S., or the U.K.
