About you:

Our busy adjusting office is seeking a talented Senior Administrative Assistant to join our team and support our daily operations. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of administrative support, including typing dictations, managing incoming and outgoing mail, and organizing and maintaining files and documents.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Typing dictations accurately and efficiently.
  2. Serve as a point of contact for both internal and external inquiries, providing information and assistance as needed.
  3. Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting, distributing, and processing correspondence.
  4. Organizing and maintaining physical and digital files and documents, including creating and updating filing systems as needed.
  5. Assisting with the preparation of reports and other correspondence materials.
  6. Proofread reports, invoices, and other relevant documents prior to submission.
  7. Identify and address administrative challenges proactively, seeking solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
  8. Perform other duties relevant to the position as required or assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

  1. 3-5 years of professional administrative experience in the insurance industry or as a legal assistant (asset).
  2. Proficient in MS Office and capable of adapting to new technologies.
  3. Excellent typing skills preferably 60+ wpm.
  4. Attention to detail.
  5. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  6. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  7. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  8. Proactive problem-solving skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
  9. Strong administrative and clerical skills.
  10. Knowledge of insurance terminology and procedures.
