Job description

As a Senior Actuarial Consultant on the National Initiatives team, you will be responsible for leading national pricing projects that enhance the sophistication of our Pricing processes for all P&C products across all lines of business and regions. A key responsibility is leading and improving our Personal Lines indication process, communicating results and insights to Senior leadership.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership in our indication process.
• Recommend indication methodologies in response to new trends or events.
• Communicate profitability outlooks and insights to senior leadership based on indication results.
• Advance estimation and explanation of loss and premium trends.
• Lead projects from start to finish, including those involving multiple analysts.
• Evaluate Pricing processes and identify improvement opportunities.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders, anticipate obstacles, and propose solutions.
• Seek opportunities to mentor and develop team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
• Over six years of P&C actuarial experience is preferred.
• FCAS designation is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills tailored to the audience.
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Python, and Radar is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Proven collaboration, coaching, and leadership skills.
