As a Senior Actuarial Analyst on our Risk Sharing Pool Data Science team, you’ll transform complex data into strategic insights that drive real-world impact. By applying advanced analytics and predictive modeling, you’ll help shape key decisions and uncover opportunities for innovation. Working alongside a collaborative team of actuaries and data scientists, you’ll be part of a forward-thinking environment where actuarial science meets cutting-edge data science. What You’ll Do

  • Translate complex data into actionable insights to support Risk Sharing Pool strategies, long-term planning, and scenario analysis.
  • Design and implement advanced actuarial models to analyze Risk Sharing Pool performance, trends, and emerging risks.
  • Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to improve the accuracy and efficiency of predictive models.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with data scientists, underwriters, and actuarial professionals to align analytical solutions with business objectives.
  • Communicate analytical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical partners, delivering timely, actionable recommendations that drive strategic decisions.
  • Foster innovation and continuous improvement by mentoring colleagues, sharing actuarial expertise, and contributing to the evolution of data science practices.

What You’ll Bring

  • Undergraduate degree in Actuarial Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3–5 CAS exams.
  • Minimum 3 years of P&C work experience.
  • Actuarial curiosity to learn and explore new solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Python and familiarity with software engineering best practices (e.g., modularity, code reuse, documentation).
  • Experience with SAS and VBA is an asset.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • A collaborative approach and eagerness to learn and grow within a high-performing team.
