Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced actuary to lead affinity pricing, profitability analysis, and pricing strategy development for Quebec partnerships. You will develop pricing recommendations and business cases, and collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, Underwriting and AMG to align with regulatory and contractual requirements.

The role requires SOA P/FM, CAS exams, 5+ years of related experience, advanced Excel, and proficiency in SQL and R.

Qualifications

University degree in Actuarial Science or related field.
SOA (P, FM) exams completed.
CAS Exams Completion.
5+ years of related experience.
Excellent knowledge of Excel.
Proficiency in SQL and R.

Responsibilities

Review, update, and monitor affinity pricing and profitability analyses.
Develop pricing recommendations and business cases for new affinity partnerships and growth initiatives.
Partner with Sales, Marketing, Product, Underwriting, and AMG stakeholders.
Assess financial impacts of pricing, regulatory, contractual, and market changes on affinity portfolios.
Recommend actions based on analysis and act as subject matter expert on affinity pricing.
Provide insights to senior leadership and business partners.
Report to the Actuarial Manager.
Implement pricing strategies and coach junior actuaries to achieve objectives.
