Responsibilities
  • Prepare and submit tax reporting and payments
  • Review and prepare monthly client and corporate reports (Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance, etc.)
  • Review all AR and AP accounts and transactions
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports for clients and corporate needs
  • Reconcile all balance sheet accounts and ensure timely bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Provide general accounting support and training
  • Assist with internal and external audits
  • Support budget preparation
Qualifications
  • Strong computer skills, especially Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables)
  • At least 3 years of experience in bookkeeping and accounting principles, with knowledge of provincial taxation laws and regulations
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to analyze large data sets
  • Self-starter with initiative
  • Team-oriented approach
  • Bilingual: Fluent French and Intermediate English
