Responsibilities

• Durchführung der vollständigen Buchhaltung, einschließlich Kreditoren und Debitoren.
• Erstellung von Monats-, Quartals- und Jahresabschlüssen.
• Überwachung der Gehaltsabrechnung und der zugehörigen Buchungen.

Our client, a medical device company is seeking a Senior Accounting Associate to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform full-cycle bookkeeping: accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank and credit card reconciliations
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements
• Manage general ledger entries and adjustments
• Oversee payroll processing and related journal entries
• Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities
• Prepare and file sales tax, GST/HST, and other regulatory returns
• Liaise with external accountants for year-end review/audit and tax filings
• Assist in improving accounting processes and internal controls
• Provide financial insights and support to management as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA designation or working toward one is an asset)
• 5+ years of progressive accounting/bookkeeping experience
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP or similar)
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and full-cycle accounting
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to work with large data sets
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
