We cover accounting, finance and payroll.

I'm looking for a Senior Accountant for my client, a manufacturing company. This is a permanent position in Saint-Hyacinthe.

Responsibilities
  • Initiate new projects
  • Assign hours worked to the correct projects
  • Enter product cost prices into our activity/project accounting software
  • Invoice projects according to work progress
  • Compare project-related materials with purchase orders
  • Respond to all financial analyses related to projects
  • Perform all other tasks and duties inherent to the position
  • Customer billing, customer file tracking
  • Accounting cycle
  • Inventory management
  • Payroll verification
  • All other related tasks
Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s degree in accounting or equivalent experience
  • 4 to 8 years of experience
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of ERP systems: Microsoft Business Central/Dynamics/Navision
  • Experience in the manufacturing sector
  • Bilingualism, as the person will be communicating with the head office in Chicago
  • Independent, resourceful, with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and make decisions proactively
  • Attention to detail, thoroughness, and precision
