Alberta Blue Cross is hiring a Senior Accountant, Project Accounting to provide financial stewardship, reporting, forecasting, and control oversight for the project portfolio. You will work with Project Managers, FP&A, Procurement, and Finance leadership to analyze performance and deliver insights across capital and operating projects.
You will help improve project transparency, automate reporting, and strengthen governance while partnering with IT, EPMO, and business teams.

The Senior Accountant, Project Accounting is a key member of the accounting team and is responsible for providing financial stewardship, reporting, forecasting, and control oversight for the organization’s project portfolio. Working closely with Project Managers, business stakeholders, FP&A, Procurement, and Finance leadership, this role ensures project financial performance is accurately tracked, analyzed, and reported throughout the project lifecycle.
The position serves as a trusted financial advisor to project teams by delivering meaningful financial insights, supporting decision-making, monitoring budgets and forecasts, and enhancing project financial controls and reporting capabilities. The role plays a key part in improving project financial transparency, reporting automation, and governance across both capital and operating projects.
