Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will help enhance financial processes, support leadership with insights, and contribute to a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. The role requires a CPA, a Bachelor’s in Accounting, 3–5 years of experience, and familiarity with Oracle NetSuite or Hyperion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a CPA (or equivalent professional designation) required.
• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience; Oracle NetSuite and/or Hyperion experience is a plus.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with strong analytical, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and collaborative communication across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly and annual consolidated financial statement note disclosures and support MD&A review.
• Contribute to the month-end close process and ensure general ledger accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare monthly internal financial reporting packages and related analyses.
• Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts, including lease and PP&E continuity schedules.
• Serve as the primary liaison with U.S. Property Tax advisors, ensuring timely and accurate information delivery.
• Analyze and document complex transactions in compliance with IFRS and provide actionable financial insights.
• Support internal controls and audit activities, including internal, external, and tax audits, while responding to ad hoc financial requests.
