RESA Power is seeking a Sr Accountant - CSL in the Vaughan, Canada area to manage the month-end close, handle POC/project accounting, and ensure GAAP compliance. You will partner with operations to validate estimates, costs, and profitability while maintaining strong internal controls.

The role requires 5+ years of accounting experience, Netsuite familiarity, and the ability to deliver accurate financial reporting in a hands-on environment. Travel is minimal and audits may be involved.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with at least 5 years in accounting.
• Experience with POC accounting is an asset.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and ability to research and document positions.
• Proficient with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes on site with accuracy.
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations and schedules.
• Support revenue recognition using POC accounting and project accounting.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, billings and margins; validate estimates.
• Collaborate with operations, FP&A, IT to improve reporting and controls.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regs and internal policies; support audits.
• Drive process and system improvements for efficiency and scalability.
