About The Opportunity

Our client in Ottawa East is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their growing organization on a full-time, permanent basis.

This organization promotes professional development and growth while emphasizing a supportive and collaborative work environment.

Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Processing of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • High volume, complex account and credit card reconciliations
  • Processing payments, preparing bank deposits
  • Posting of journal entries, working closely with the General Ledger, adjustments as needed
  • Processing payroll as well as tax and WSIB remittances
  • Assisting in the coordination and preparation of budget and financial forecasts
  • Production of Financial Statements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual results such as Income Statements, P&L, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Management
  • Assisting with financial reporting and analysis as needed, working closely with Senior Management
About You

The successful candidate will have the following:

  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration (or equivalent)
  • 5+ years of experience in full-cycle Accounting
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Highly organized, with strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills (English essential)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, self-starter, collaborative
