Job summary

A leading staffing and consulting firm based in Toronto is looking for a finance professional to assist with month-end close processes and financial reporting under IFRS & US GAAP. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in finance and audit, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to analyze variances effectively. The role requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines while working both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of progressive audit/finance experience, with external audit experience as an asset.
• Demonstrated strength in using large ERP systems, particularly MS Excel and MS Access.
• Good understanding of US GAAP/IFRS accounting standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end close including journal entries and variance analysis.
• Prepare financial reports (IFRS & US GAAP) and management reports.
• Analyze operational accounting results for variances with explanations.
