Randstad Canada in Toronto seeks a detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join our client in Financial Services. The role focuses on accurate financial reporting under IFRS, US GAAP and JGAAP, and ensuring integrity of statements.

You will manage routine accounting, assist with regulatory filings in Canada, and support system implementations and process improvements to enhance efficiencies and controls.

Competenze

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and attention to accuracy.
• Experience in financial accounting and reporting under IFRS, US GAAP, and JGAAP.
• Familiarity with Canadian regulatory filings (OSFI, CRA, Statistics Canada) preferred.

Mansioni

• Prepare timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Post month-end journal entries, balance sheet adjustments, and revenue/expense accruals.
• Perform detailed variance analyses against prior periods and budgets.
• Oversee fixed asset accounting, including depreciation and subledger reconciliations.
• File statutory and regulatory returns for government bodies (OSFI, CRA, Statistics Canada).
• Ensure IFRS and US GAAP disclosures are consistently applied.
• Daily reconciliation of high-volume general ledger accounts.
