Job summary

A well-established healthcare organization in downtown Toronto is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their finance team. This role involves owning full-cycle accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and requires strong GAAP knowledge. Ideal candidates have 5 to 7 years of experience, advanced Excel skills, and a degree in Accounting. Qualifications

• 5 to 7 years of hands-on accounting experience in a multi-entity environment.
• Strong full-cycle accounting background with solid GAAP and ASPE knowledge.
• Advanced Excel skills, including lookups and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle accounting activities, including journal entries and month-end close.
• Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations and maintain accounting schedules.
• Support preparation of monthly financial statements and internal reporting.
