Our client is a fast-growing and forward-thinking public practice accounting firm known for its commitment to collaboration and innovation.

They are looking for a Senior Accountant with strong attention to detail and a solid foundation in accounting principles. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills and a commitment to accuracy. This role involves handling financial transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Responsibilities
1. Manage day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
2. Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial records.
3. Prepare and analyze financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
4. Preparation of compilation engagements
5. Preparation of Review engagements
6. Preparation of corporate tax returns
7. Preparation of T1/T3/T4/T4As/T5s/T5018s returns
8. Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial information and support decision-making processes.

Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA)
3. Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role.
4. Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
5. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
