Job summary

Uline, a leading North American distributor, seeks a Senior Accountant to join our Milton facility. You will lead month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and tax filing support while overseeing payroll for Canada.

This role requires CPA designation, a Bachelor's in accounting, and 7+ years of experience. Based at our Milton campus, you will collaborate across accounting teams, drive process improvements, and provide financial insights that influence leadership decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
• CPA designation required.
• 7+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate setting.
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
• Advanced Excel skills; HRIS familiarity like Workday is a plus.
• Excellent communicator with ability to collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, variance analysis and accurate financial reporting.
• Own balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls, investigating discrepancies and ensuring reporting accuracy.
• Prepare schedules and supporting documentation for annual corporate tax filings.
• Oversee the payroll process for Canada operations, ensuring accurate processing, thorough audits and compliance.
• Identify process improvements to strengthen accounting workflows and internal controls.
• Partner with teams across Uline on financial analysis, reporting and business insights.
