Job summary

Uline is seeking a Senior Accountant at our Milton, Ontario facility to lead month-end close, manage reconciliations and support corporate tax filings. You will oversee Canadian payroll and partner with teams to improve controls and reporting accuracy.

We require a Bachelor's degree in accounting, CPA designation, 7+ years of experience, strong GAAP knowledge and advanced Excel; Workday experience a plus. On-site role with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, variance analysis and accurate financial reporting.
• Own balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls, investigating discrepancies and ensuring reporting accuracy.
• Prepare schedules and supporting documentation for annual corporate tax filings.
• Oversee the payroll process for Canada operations, ensuring accurate processing, thorough audits and compliance.
• Identify process improvements and strengthen accounting workflows and internal controls to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Partner with teams across Uline on financial analysis, reporting and business insights that support informed decisions.

Position Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, variance analysis and accurate financial reporting.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• CPA designation.
• 7+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate setting.
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
• Advanced Excel skills. Familiarity with HRIS systems like Workday a plus.
• Excellent communicator with the ability to collaborate and influence across teams.
