Senior Accountant, Assurance [Audit]

As a Senior Accountant, Assurance [Audit] your responsibilities will include:

1. Planning, preparing and execution of financial statement audits, reviews and compilations
2. Providing solutions to our clients on current business and financial conditions
3. Planning fieldwork assignments including budget and resource needs
4. Working closely with clients and providing exceptional client service
5. Working with clients in target industry sectors under varying reporting frameworks
6. Supervising, coaching and directing motivated professionals
7. Building our reputation as the preferred business advisors in key sectors of our growing practice

Qualifications:

1. Completed post-secondary degree/diploma
2. CPA (CPA, CA; CPA, CMA or CPA, CGA) accreditation (or near completion of)
3. Minimum 2 years of public practice audit experience
4. Experience working with not-for-profit audit clients and owner managed clients within a public practice scope
5. Demonstrated success in business development, advisory and team management
6. A team player able to rally resources and work with others to meet the needs and exceed the expectations of the client
7. Build and deepen meaningful business relationships with colleagues, clients and in the marketplace, based on strong rapport, trust and respect
8. Strong interest in coaching and development, with a commitment to personal growth
9. Demonstrated ability to meet the professional and competency expectations of the position
10. Being an articulate, inspiring and versatile communicator
