Job summary

Doane Grant Thornton in Mississauga, ON is seeking a Senior Accountant, Assurance [Audit] to lead audits from planning through delivery. You will work with clients in diverse sectors, ensuring quality service and practical business solutions.

Collaboration with teams and adherence to timelines are essential to succeed in this role. The position requires CPA or near completion, 2+ years of public practice audit experience, and strong technical skills in audit, accounting, and tax.

Responsibilities

• Planning, preparing and execution of financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations

• Working closely with clients and providing exceptional client service
• Building our reputation as the preferred business advisors in key sectors of our growing practice
• Preparation of corporate and personal tax returns

Our salary ranges are reviewed annually, and where you land within the range depends on a mix of factors—your background, your skills, and how your contributions align with internal equity. To help start the conversation, the current salary range for this role is $70,100 to $96,450 in Mississauga, ON. If the role is available in other locations, the range may differ to reflect local market factors.
