As a Senior Accountant, Assurance, your responsibilities will include:
• Collaborating with colleagues to deliver exceptional service to clients across various industries and reporting frameworks
• Providing clients with recommendations on current business and financial conditions
• Planning, preparing, and executing financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations, including managing budgets and resources
• Preparing various tax returns and responding to CRA requests
• Contributing to our reputation as preferred business advisors in key sectors
• Supervising, coaching, and providing feedback to junior team members
• Other duties as required

What we're looking for
• Completed post-secondary degree/diploma
• CPA accreditation (or near completion)
• Minimum 2 years of public practice audit experience
• Strong technical expertise in audit, accounting, and tax
• Experience in tax return preparation
• Focus on exceptional client service
• Strong planning and time management skills
• Analytical problem solver with attention to detail
• Innovative thinker capable of developing new ideas
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Mentoring experience is a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficiency with MS Office and accounting software (e.g., CaseWare, TaxPrep, Sage, QuickBooks)

The base salary ranges from $59,000 to $79,000 in Kamloops, BC, with variations based on location and experience.
