Your Opportunity

Our GTA Audit Practice is looking for a Senior Accountant to join the team, with flexibility to work from any of our three offices : Toronto, Oakville, or Markham. You will own the following responsibilities :

Lead and conduct audit and review engagements, preparing working papers and financial statements in accordance with regulatory and firm standards.

Coordinate year-end assurance engagements for clients across a range of industries, including supporting information for corporate tax filings (prepared by the tax team).

Apply working knowledge of accounting frameworks such as ASPE, ASNPO, IFRS, and US GAAP, as appropriate to client needs.

Build and maintain positive client relationships by responding promptly to requests and delivering high-quality service.

Support business development efforts by identifying opportunities to expand services with existing clients.

Communicate regularly with engagement team members to provide progress updates and raise issues proactively.

Your experience and education

You should have successfully completed your CPA designation.

You should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in external audit within the public accounting industry.

You have working knowledge of ASPE, ASNPO, IFRS and / or US GAAP standards (depending on client needs).

You prioritize teamwork, client service, and delivering high-quality, detailed work.

You exhibit strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
