Your Opportunity
BDO Canada's Kitchener-Waterloo group of offices is looking for Senior Accountants to join our Assurance team. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading audit engagements, preparing working papers, and compiling financial statements in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Streamlining year-end engagements and preparing tax returns for clients across various industries.
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients, addressing their needs and suggestions promptly.
- Contributing to business development and identifying opportunities with existing clients.
- Keeping your team informed about progress and potential issues, fostering a collaborative environment.

Your experience and education
- You are a CPA or working towards your CPA designation, with at least 3 years of experience in external audit within public accounting.
- You possess a strong understanding of accounting standards and regulations.
- You are highly detail-oriented with excellent time management skills, capable of handling multiple engagements simultaneously.
- You are proactive in seeking professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- You have strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
