Our Kamloops, Kelowna, Revelstoke, Salmon Arm, and Vernon offices are looking for a Senior Accountant to join the Assurance & Accounting team and own the following responsibilities :

  1. Effectively and efficiently handle audit tasks independently or within a team environment
  2. Efficiently prepare year-end engagements and tax returns for your clients in a variety of industries
  3. Perform audits on a variety of organizations, prepare working papers and financial statements per regulatory standards
  4. Build positive working relationships with clients and effectively respond to requests and suggestions
  5. Effectively communicate with team members regarding progress updates and issues on an ongoing basis
  6. Engage in training staff and invest in the professional development of your team

Your experience and education

  1. You have completed your CPA designation or are in the process of pursuing it.
  2. You have 2-3 years of audit experience in the public accounting industry.
  3. You enjoy working with high-growth and dynamic private and publicly-listed enterprises.
  4. You are keen to develop further knowledge about the business, assurance, and regulatory requirements of publicly-listed entities and private businesses.
  5. You value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work.
  6. You display strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
