About the Opportunity

• Full cycle month end closing duties including preparation of financial statements for Plant.
• Full cycle booking of journal entries and preparing various reconciliations.
• Working with Plant Operations team and developing budgets/forecasts.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations.
• Producing complete financial statement packages with supporting analysis
• Perform and analyze F/X revaluations
• Perform global intercompany reconciliations
• Liaise with Business unit(s) within the plans and provide assistance on any ad-hoc projects.
• Variance analysis and P&L Analysis
• Continuous improvement to internal processes enhancing the control environment
• Support the quarterly reviews and year end audit
• Provide ad-hoc support for corporate projects and initiatives

About You

• University Degree with CPA designation.
• 5+ years of relevant corporate accounting experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS
• Strong computer literacy with advanced level Excel skill (pivots, v-lookups, and advanced formulas) are required
• Knowledge of and experience with JDE and/or SAP is a strong asset.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and act with a strong sense of urgency
• Strong self-initiative to operate independently
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Creative problem-solving skills and motivation to improve processes
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
