Summary

NVD is seeking a Senior Accountant to support our multi-division operations. As a strategic partner, you’ll collaborate with our hotels, restaurants, and real estate teams - helping leaders manage budgets, understand costs, and improve performance. You’ll ensure our reporting, reconciliations and insights are rock solid. From daily transactions to investor-level reporting, your work will directly shape NVD’s financial success.

What Does Your Success Look Like?

• Financial reporting is accurate, timely and compliant, providing executives and stakeholders with the insights they need to make informed decisions.
• Month-end closes are completed smoothly with clean reconciliations and entries.
• Operational teams understand their numbers and can act on cost insights.
• Forecasts and models are reliable tools for planning and strategy.
• Fixed assets are tracked and managed throughout their lifecycle and comply with accounting standards.
• GST filings and audit requirements are met without issue.
• Payables and receivables are processed efficiently to support cash flow.
• Audit and review engagements are efficiently supported, ensuring compliance and readiness for scrutiny.

What You Bring To The Role

• Considerable and progressive accounting experience; a CPA designation or progress toward one is an asset.
• Experience in a multi-entity company and/or real estate or hospitality is an asset.
• Experience with payroll or fixed assets is an asset, or a willingness to learn.
• Service Center Mindset – You support operations by providing financial insights and tools that help teams make informed, revenue-driven decisions.
• Financial Acumen – You apply strong knowledge of GAAP, reporting, reconciliations, and month-end processes to maintain accurate financials.
