Job summary

Cameron Izard Snell LLP in Victoria, BC, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team. We welcome a CPA student or newly designated CPA who recently conquered the CFE, or someone with equivalent public practice experience.

Qualifications

• Approximately 3-5 years working in a public practice role.
• Preparation of Compilation Engagement files and T2 corporate tax returns – intermediate level files and above
• Understanding of corporate tax balances (CDA, RDTOH, GRIP etc.)
• Preparation of corporate or personal tax planning scenario calculations
• Preparation of Canadian personal tax returns – intermediate level files and above
• Bonus Experience: U.S. personal tax returns, Trust tax returns, Review Engagements and Financial Statements per ASPE including related notes disclosures

Responsibilities

• Prepare compilation engagement files and T2 corporate tax returns for clients
• Perform corporate or personal tax planning calculations
• Prepare Canadian personal tax returns and related schedules
• Reconcile and balance tax balances and related working papers
• Assist in delivering quality client service and timely work products
