The Job

Reporting to the Operations Controller, the Senior Accountant will contribute to the finance team by providing accounting, tax, and financial reporting support. Responsibilities include reconciling accounts, ensuring accurate financial records, maintaining tax compliance, assisting with audits, and streamlining processes. The role requires attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and collaboration across teams in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger and financial records
• Review and post journal entries
• Perform monthly reconciliations and variance analyses
• Prepare financial statements
• Reconcile and file indirect tax returns
• Assist with audit requirements
• Implement process improvements for accounting operations
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and internal controls
• Support and mentor junior staff
• Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders
• Handle ad hoc projects and issues

Required Skills

Education

• Financial reporting and month-end closing
• Process improvement and reconciliation skills
