Offering premium custom-built construction, using industry leading materials, equating sustainable and durable construction regardless of the application.MODUS Structures has a new position within our Accounting Department. Reporting to the Controller, the *Senior* *Accountant* is responsible for the following:* Assist in preparation of month-end and year-end financial statements as well as various management reports* Assist in completion of monthly reconciliation of balance sheet and income statements accounts, including WIP and Inventory accounts* Hands on and review of the day-to-day accounting including monthly journal entries for revenue and COGS, GST remittances, bank reconciliations, project status updates and maintenance of the fixed asset continuity schedule* Compile statistical reports, statements and summaries related accounting as required. The trends will need to be analyzed and responded to effectively to ensure desired results.* Assist accounting team members where required to meet deadlines.*Qualifications** Post-secondary education from an accredited university or college in accounting or finance* Accounting designation or working towards a designation;* 5+ years? accounting experience, with previous experience in accounting and financial analysis* Advanced Excel is preferred* Experience in a manufacturing/construction industry an asset* Conscientious worker, who can work independently or in a team setting with minimal supervision* Must be able to prioritize workload and work with deadlines on short notice.* Strong analytical and organizational skills* Ability to work with all levels of the organization with high levels of integrity, tact and maturity*Location:*This role is based at our 135,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in *Crossfield, Alberta*, located 20 minutes north of Calgary. Strategically positioned near a High Load Corridor, we can transport loads up to 9 meters high to various parts of Alberta, Saskatchewan, BC, and the United States.
