We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our clients team. This is an excellent opportunity for a CPA, or near-CPA, with a strong background in review and audit. Youwill work independently, performing mainstream review and audit engagements. This role offers the chance to utilize your expertise and contribute to a variety of client projects.

Responsibilities:

• Independently manage and execute review and audit engagements.
• Perform financial statement reviews and audits.
• Identify and assess financial risks.
• Evaluate internal controls and make recommendations for improvement.
• Communicate effectively with clients and address their accounting needs.
• Prepare accurate and timely reports for clients.
• Stay up-to-date on accounting standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

• CPA designation or actively pursuing designation.
• Experience working in a medium-sized public accounting firm.
• Strong technical skills in accounting and auditing.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage client engagements.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client service skills.
• Solid understanding of Canadian accounting standards (ASPE) and auditing standards (CAS).
