Your Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to support key accounting functions, including the month-end close, journal entries, account reconciliations, and tax filings. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of accounting principles and play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.

Here You’ll Get To

Support the monthly and quarterly close process, ensuring all deadlines are met.

Prepare and post journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation.

Perform cash and bank reconciliations.

Prepare quarterly and annual reconciliations and support financial statement preparation.

Complete and reconcile sales tax filings (e.g., GST / HST) accurately and on time.

Maintain general ledger accounts and assist with account analysis.

Liaise with internal and external auditors.

Communicate with Finance leadership to identify risks and opportunities.

Collaborate with operations teams to optimize business outcomes.

Contribute to the successful launch of a new accounting system by participating in testing, training, and user support.

Support audits and respond to ad hoc financial reporting needs.

About You

CPA designation or in progress, preferred.

3–5 years of progressive accounting experience.

Strong working knowledge of accounting principles (ASPE, IFRS, and / or US GAAP).

Proficient in Excel and accounting software (SAP S / 4HANA preferred).

High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

Strong organizational and communication abilities.
