Position Overview :

This position will be a key senior team member in a fast-growing multi-family office.This role would be a leader for the accounting firm arm of the firm.Unlike typical accounting only roles, the family office environment allows additional opportunities for our team members to get hands-on exposure in the areas of personal and corporate Financial Planning, in addition to the other branches of our family office.

Responsibilities include :

• Co-ordination and running of client meetings
• Sales funnel management for new leads
• Managing data integrity across all systems within the practice
• Managing workload during peak seasonal periods.

Completing & reviewing assigned deliverables

oMonthly bookkeeping

oPersonal tax return preparation

oCorporate tax return preparation

oT-slip filing

oFractional CFO support

oTax planning

Technical proficiency with accounting and bookkeeping

Familiarity with the Windows operating system.

Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, in particular Excel and PowerPoint.

Ability to prioritize assigned work to meet strict client deadlines

Comfort working in a fast-paced growth environment

Proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications :

Minimum of 2 years of Canadian tax preparation experience is a must

Ability to obtain a RepID with the CRA

Enrolment with CPA Ontario or CPA Canada preferred

Successful Common Final Examination completion is a strong asset.
