Position Overview :

This position will be a key senior team member in a fast-growing multi-family office.This role would be a leader for the accounting firm arm of the firm.Unlike typical accounting only roles, the family office environment allows additional opportunities for our team members to get hands-on exposure in the areas of personal and corporate Financial Planning, in addition to the other branches of our family office.

Responsibilities include :

  • Co-ordination and running of client meetings
  • Sales funnel management for new leads
  • Managing data integrity across all systems within the practice
  • Managing workload during peak seasonal periods.

Completing & reviewing assigned deliverables

oMonthly bookkeeping

oPersonal tax return preparation

oCorporate tax return preparation

oT-slip filing

oFractional CFO support

oTax planning

  • Skills :

  • Self-starter

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data.
  • Technical proficiency with accounting and bookkeeping
  • Familiarity with the Windows operating system.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, in particular Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to prioritize assigned work to meet strict client deadlines
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced growth environment
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 2 years of Canadian tax preparation experience is a must
  • Ability to obtain a RepID with the CRA
  • Enrolment with CPA Ontario or CPA Canada preferred
  • Successful Common Final Examination completion is a strong asset.
