Senior Accountant - Audit / Assurance (FULLY REMOTE)

About the Position

This is a 100% fully remote position with one of the top 20 accounting firms in Canada.

Our diverse teams work closely together, ensuring you are more than just a number. You will develop your skills by working with a variety of clients across multiple industries, including emerging sectors such as cannabis and psychedelics, investment funds, financial institutions, healthcare, and pension plans.

Responsibilities
  1. Completing and overseeing audit files
  2. Coaching junior and intermediate accountants
  3. Building effective relationships with clients
  4. Preparing complex audit areas
  5. Coordinating group audits across locations
  6. Reviewing work of team members
  7. Responding to client and team requests
Requirements
  1. 2+ years of audit experience
  2. Leadership qualities and team support skills
  3. CPA designation or progress towards it
  4. Strong knowledge of IFRS, ASPE, CAS
  5. Excellent communication skills
  6. Strong organizational skills
  7. Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Caseware
