Our client in the manufacturing industry has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Accountant! This position is newly created and will report into the Controller while focusing on the full accounting cycle, including budgeting, reporting, AR, AP, payroll backup and more!

Responsibilities:

• Oversee full accounting cycle including AR, AP, cost accounting and more
• Financial reporting under SOX compliance
• Act as backup for processing payroll
• Support month end and year end processes
• Prepare budget and financial forecasts
• Documentation of processes and improvements
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned by Controller

Requirements:

• Must have 3+ years experience working in a Manufacturing environment
• SOX experience is considered an asset
• Strong communication skills
