This is a high-impact role for someone ready to step beyond execution and into client ownership, team mentorship, and strategic involvement with firm leadership.If you?re looking for more autonomy, less bureaucracy, and the chance to shape how modern accounting is delivered ? this is your opportunity.*Key Responsibilities** Lead the preparation and review of Compilation engagements and corporate tax filings (T2)* Oversee full-cycle accounting for complex, multi-entity clients, including month-end close and reconciliations* Manage and file GST/HST, T4/T5, and assist in personal (T1) and trust (T3) returns for key clients* Supervise junior staff or contractors, reviewing their work and supporting their development* Act as a primary point of contact for assigned clients ? managing communication, deadlines, and strategic input* Analyze investment portfolios and prepare related T3/T5 slips for clients with holding companies or investment structures* Coordinate with the CRA on audits, information requests, and other correspondence* Continuously improve internal workflows, documentation, and cloud-based processes (QBO, Xero, Wagepoint, Caseware, TaxPrep)*What You Bring** CPA designation (or final stages of completion)* 3?7 years of progressive experience in public accounting, including strong exposure to both tax and financial reporting* Advanced proficiency with tools like Caseware, TaxPrep, QuickBooks Online, Excel, and cloud accounting platforms* Proven ability to lead client engagements and provide hands-on mentorship to team members* Excellent communication skills, with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset* Experience with investment bookkeeping and multi-currency entities is an asset* Based in the Greater Toronto Area*What You?ll Get** Autonomy and leadership opportunity in a modern, growing firm* Exposure to diverse and complex clients, including investment companies and multi-entity operations* Direct mentorship and collaboration with firm partners* A chance to grow into a management or advisory role as the firm expands* Competitive compensation packageThis role is ideal for a self-starter who is comfortable managing clients, improving systems, and contributing to a boutique firm?s long-term success.
