Overview

Our client, a reputable and well established public practice firm in Red Deer, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their busy team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone in the CPA program close to designation or recently designated. A wonderful opportunity for those living and commuting from Red Deer or surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• We are seeking one in the later stages of the CPA program or recently designated with a minimum of 2 years (current) in a Canadian based public practice firm. Duties will include but not be limited to;
• Support our clients by evaluating their current financial situation and business results while helping to ensure the accuracy of their financial data
• Prepare complex compilation and review engagements
• Assist with various services such as tax planning and preparation including complex corporate and personal tax returns
• Liaise with the government and CRA on behalf of clients as required
• Build and maintain strong working relationship with clients
