Job summary

Oratomic, Inc. in Pasadena, CA is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage daily bookkeeping, run the monthly close, handle billing, AP, and reconcile bank, card and payroll accounts.

You will work closely with our head of operations and our outside CPA, and with a team of scientists and engineers buying a lot of complex equipment to keep our numbers accurate and ready whenever we need them. The position requires several years of hands-on accounting experience, ideally at a startup or R&D company,

Qualifications

• Comfortable with QuickBooks, Ramp or similar tools.
• Works well in a highly collaborative team environment.
• Wants to build a quantum computer.

• Collaborate with head of operations and outside CPA to ensure accurate numbers.

We're looking for a Senior Accountant to manage operations of our books day to day: run the monthly close, manage billing, handle AP, and reconcile our bank, card and payroll accounts. You'll work closely with our head of operations and our outside CPA, and with a team of scientists and engineers buying a lot of complex equipment, to keep our numbers accurate and ready whenever we need them.

Requirements:

• Wants to build a quantum computer

• Several years of hands‑on accounting experience, ideally at a startup or R&D company

• Comfortable with QuickBooks, Ramp or similar tools

Compensation:

• $140,000-$200,000/year depending on experience
