Our client, a forward-thinking public practice firm, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their growing team. This role is ideal for a CPA who thrives in a flexible, balanced work environment and has strong experience across compilations, tax, and assurance engagements.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Prepare and review compilation engagements, corporate tax returns, and personal tax filings
• Lead and contribute to assurance engagements (review and audit files)
• Liaise with clients to gather documentation, provide updates, and offer advisory-level insights
• Work both independently and collaboratively in a cloud-based, tech-forward environment
• Help mentor junior staff when needed, with an eye toward quality and efficiency
• Self-manage workload and deadlines with autonomy and accountability

What We’re Looking For

• CPA designation (or in final stages)
• 2–4 years of public practice accounting experience, with exposure to both tax and assurance
• Excellent working knowledge of accounting standards.
• Excellent analytical & problem solving skills
• 4-day workweek (for 10 months of the year)
• Hybrid flexibility: Only 1 in-office day per month (first Monday)
• Flexible working hours built around core hours of 10am–3pm
