*Senior Accountant*CRSP CPA Corp., is a North-Shore based CPA firm providing accounting, assurance, tax, and valuation services. We are a close-knit team with a collaborative, inclusive and entrepreneurial company culture. Our office is based in central North Vancouver, conveniently located a 5 min walk from Lonsdale Quay Market, close to restaurants, coffee shops and transit.We are an approved CPA training office and currently have an opening for a full-time Senior Accountant. This role is intended for individuals who are close to writing or have recently written the CFE and who have the desire to become a Manager.*What We Offer*· Competitive base salary in the range of $65,000 to 85,000 per year, bonus and benefits package with ample opportunity for career advancement in a growing and progressive professional practice.· Culture-first environment, with little to no expectation for overtime, a positive supporting team and a super-natural environment with immediate access to some of the most beautiful outdoor experiences BC has to offer.· A firm that emphasizes technology and effectiveness, along with a ?business comfortable? dress code.· Access to a rewarding work experience and positive environment in support of the pursuit of your continued professional development.*Main Responsibilities and Duties*· Prepare and review year-end financial statements and corporate tax returns, for both compilations and reviews;· Assist with the review and preparation of various tax compliance returns (T3s, T4s, T5s, etc.);· Prepare and review personal tax returns;· Actively mentor the firm?s CPA students; and· Communicate clearly with clients and team members.*What We Are Looking For*As our ideal candidate you are enthusiastic, reliable and have previous experience in public practice. You will also have:· Demonstrated understanding of accounting and assurance concepts, supported by successful completion of CPA PEP;· Strong understanding of Microsoft Office;· Strong understanding of Caseware and tax preparation software (Taxprep or Profile); and· Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online and Sage).*If you are interested, we would love to hear from you!
