A reputable accounting firm in Kamloops is seeking a full-time Accountant. The ideal candidate will have a CPA certification and 3 to 5 years experience, responsible for preparing financial statements, tax returns, and mentoring staff. This position offers a salary range of $70,000 to $80,000 annually and includes a healthcare plan.

Tasks: Identify clients' financial goals and objectives. Ensure accuracy and compliance to accounting standards, procedures and internal control. Prepare financial information for individuals, departments or companies. Prepare reports and audit findings. Prepare financial statements and reports. Prepare income tax returns from accounting records. Analyze financial documents and reports. Examine accounting records. Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems. Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports. Prepare tax returns. Offer mentoring.
