Job description

Job Duties:

• Support the month end general ledger close - prepare journal entries and perform account reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing income statements, balance sheets, and other internal and external financial reporting.
• Support sales and use tax filings.
• Assist in the preparation of annual operating budgets, forecasts and variance analysis.
• Support income tax research/special projects, filings and accounting treatments.
• Identify areas of concern/opportunity and recommend corrective actions.
• Other general accounting responsibilities and special projects as required.
• Support financial reviews and audits conducted by independent auditors.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance from an accredited college/university.
• Experience with large ERP systems.
• Manufacturing experience.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
