We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join BrokerLink in our Calgary, AB office on a permanent full-time basis.

Role Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements, supporting schedules, and other reports
- Support the financial reporting team during month-end, quarter-end, and year-end processes
- Work on preliminary and final purchase price calculations for acquisitions and prepare related journal entries
- Review acquisition balances, monthly movements, and reconciliations
- Analyze acquisition income statements, reconcile changes, and prepare variance explanations
- Reconcile bank and sub-ledger accounts
- Prepare regulatory and government reports (RIBO, GST/HST, sales taxes, quarterly surveys, etc.)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows, automate tasks, and improve financial data quality
- Assist team members with daily questions and tasks
- Complete other tasks and ad-hoc projects as assigned
Candidate Requirements:
- CPA designation
- 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting, financial reporting, or auditing, preferably with public company experience
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, SEC regulations, and accounting standards
- Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent analytical, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills, with a track record of accuracy and timeliness
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly
